
Emma Hunt
Professional Climber and USA Climbing Team MemberEmma Hunt is a professional speed climber on the USA Climbing Speed team. Emma started climbing at 5-years-old and began competing just a few years later. At 14-years-old Emma discovered speed climbing—from that moment on, she was hooked.
Emma competes nationally for USA climbing's speed team. In 2021 Emma became the first US Women climber to complete a 15-meter wall in under 8 seconds, for which she held the USA Female Speed Climbing record of 7.56 seconds. Emma then shattered her record, getting a 7.19 in Villars at the World Cup. Emma is also a steller boulder and sport climber, making her a competitive athlete in combined competitions.
When she's not climbing Emma enjoys baking! She loves trying new recipes and learning different baking techniques. Emma is also a huge animal lover and spends a lot of time hanging with her pets – her dog, Flynn, and cat, Nala.
